A Midwest native, Cameron Cummins has been driven by a desire to make a significant impact and his upbringing instilled in him an ambitious sense of purpose and an innate drive to achieve success on his own terms – even if it meant carving his own path.
It was over thirty years ago, during his time in California, that he had the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the then-brand-new Lexus automotive company, leading it to international acclaim. Cameron’s time at Lexus was marked by significant achievements, including becoming the youngest person to hold every professional title within the automotive field. However, he soon began to recognize his own potential within the confines of a bureaucratic corporate structure, and made the bold decision to depart from the most successful brand launch in automotive history and embark on the journey of an entrepreneur.
Since then, his mission has been to propel himself and his career through sheer output, diligently working hard and leveraging his skills to drive the growth of companies. Embracing a disruptive approach, Cameron has cultivated his own success wherever he’s ventured, placing emphasis on innovative ideas and dismantling traditional methodologies. This approach has been evident in the companies he has worked with, such as Clear Channel and Yum! Brands, as well as those he has launched, including PowerPact, LLC, and inHOUSE Marketing.
Cameron’s leadership role at inHOUSE eventually led to the development of his own growth company—PGP’s predecessor—where he and his business partner and future PGP Co-founder, Bryon Stephens – secured the exclusive franchise sales rights to Marco’s Pizza. Together, the two propelled the company into an internationally acclaimed brand, earning recognition from QSR, Fast Casual, Franchise Time, and Nation’s Restaurant News, who bestowed upon Marco’s the title of the “Undisputed King of New Store Development.”
In 2018, Cummins and Stephens teamed up again and launched Pivotal Growth Partners (PGP), a full-service growth and development firm and brand accelerator. With a proven track record of success, the organization has excelled in identifying emerging brands with big potential, and then partnering with them to build on their strengths while simultaneously developing the systems, processes, people, and culture to collectively drive sustainable growth. In 2022, PGP was named to Inc Magazines’ Inaugural Power Partner Awards, honoring B2B organization across the globe with a proven track record supporting entrepreneurs and helping start-ups grow.
